PRODUCTION NOTES
The Challenge
Insetting 7 narrow-width, delicate translucent vellum interleaves (215.9 x 254 mm) at precise designated page coordinates prior to final binding without causing paper wrinkling, static misalignment, or glue bleed-through on adjacent 157g matte art pages.
Our Solution
Utilized LED-UV quick-dry ink printing on the vellum sheets to eliminate ink smudging. Implemented a specialized hand-assembly station using non-bleeding adhesives to mount each trimmed interleaf precisely at the binding spine, ensuring perfect lay-flat integration alongside multi-page foldout signatures.
The Challenge
Applying 100T fine-sand tactile UV screen printing directly onto textured non-woven fabric cloth (WIBALIN NATURAL) while achieving crisp border registration against underlying offset artwork without pattern bleeding or edge distortion.
Our Solution
Calibrated silk-screen tension and used specialized coarse-grain UV varnish formulations designed for woven fiber adhesion. Precise prepress alignment and controlled UV curing passes ensured a durable, highly tactile matte texture that elevates cover artwork depth.
The Challenge
Ensuring uniform spot yellow color matching (PMS 7403U) across drastically different paper types—including uncoated endpapers, heavy art paper pull-out spreads, folded pocket inserts, and external posters.
Our Solution
Established a unified color management curve and conducted multi-pass press checks against physical Pantone color master proofs. Spot-ink formulations were individually adjusted for each substrate's absorption rate to achieve identical tonal harmony across all interior and accessory elements.
