High-Definition Printing on Textile
The Challenge
The cover requires printing complex imagery directly onto fine-weave cloth. Standard offset ink often soaks into fibers, causing blurred images and dull colors.
Our Solution
Artron utilized HUV (LED-UV) Offset technology. The ink cures instantly on the fabric surface rather than absorbing, ensuring sharp details and vibrant colors while preserving the textile's tactile quality.
Structural Integrity for 5kg+ Volume
The Challenge
The Challenge:
This massive edition weighs over 5.2kg. Standard binding boards would warp or fail to support this weight, leading to structural collapse over time.
Our Solution
We engineered a reinforced case using custom 4mm high-density board. Combined with a specialized Round Spine binding technique, this creates an architectural foundation that keeps the book block secure and flat for decades.
Color Management on Uncoated Stock
The Challenge
The Challenge:
The endpapers use 200g uncoated stock, which naturally absorbs ink heavily. Standard profiles would result in "muddy" colors that deviate from the digital proof.
Our Solution
We applied Artron’s proprietary color profile (based on Fogra47). This custom curve specifically compensates for dot gain on absorbent papers, ensuring the matte endpapers visually match the glossy interior pages perfectly.
